This website started as a domain for having my own e-mail address, independent of internet providers, universities, etc. Later it also became the host for some of my projects, including the Guild Wars Research Lab, a RPG written in PHP and my mods for the game Fate.

The GWRL is a fancy name for a project of mine that aimed to create a dynamic index of all the skills one could obtain in the game Guild Wars (created by ArenaNet). It was a good chance to learn some PHP and to refresh my MySQL knowledge. The project stopped to be maintained when I lost my interest for the game.

After having had the GWRL on-line for over two years, I decided to take it down - as there are better websites out there and there is no need keeping a very outdated website on-line. Looking back through the logs of those two years, I had between 200 and 600 unique visitors per month, with 1000 to 15,000 pageviews per month.

At some point after making the GWRL, I wrote a simple PHP text-based game in which you could travel through mysterious lands and do all kinds of heroic things. For some reason I stopped developing it after I finished most of the engine work.

The last remaining part of the website is my collection of Fate mods. Fate is a Role Playing Game that is easy to write modifications for, due to most of the game's things, like items, monsters and spells being defined in plain text files. The Fate Mods section provides an overview of the mods I have written. Feel free to try them out and improve them.
